Final Power Rankings: (Regular Season)

1. Barely Legal (Last Week: 1)

Barely Legal has gone wire to wire as the #1 team in this session, and they have not let me down. Finishing the year at a perfect 8-0 Barely Legal capped off their season last night by winning 2 games back to back, first over Select Hoops, and then over Sparkle City both by 20 points. This is the team to beat, it's going to take something extremely special to keep this team from finishing 11-0 and wearing Champions T-Shirts.

2. Icemen (Last Week: 4)

If there was ever a statement game it was last nights performance by the Ice Men. Led by Kyle Gibson and Ryan Spencer the Ice Men pounded team OFF 112-79, to hop back up this list into the number 2 spot that they have occupied for much of this year. This team looks refocused after a surprising loss in week 7, and I still think if anyone is going to unseat Barely Legal it will be them.

3. Team OFF (Last Week: 2)

Team OFF drops back one spot on the list after an uncharacteristic blow out loss in Week 8. I think they may have been confused by having one sub last night, and it threw them completely off their game. Regardless this team has had a pretty impressive session despite being shorthanded for much of it. I suspect a full roster in the playoffs, or maybe they would be better off just going with 5, it seems to work better than this whole having reserves thing.

4. Select Hoops (Last Week: 3)

Select Hoops hops down 1 spot after a 20 point loss at the hands of Barely Legal. Regardless this is a team that can compete with the big boys, as made evidenced by their week 7 win over the Icemen. If they can get all their cylinders clicking at one time, this is a team that can surprise some people.

5. Just Play (Last Week: 5)

Just Play holds tight at number 5 after a convincing win over the Warriors last night. This has been a team who have been under the radar for much of the year. Their first round matchup with Select Hoops will definitely be a game that has people talking.

6. Warriors (Last Week: 6)

Despite the lost to Just Play the Warriors finish the session a respectable 6-2. Their ability to get out on the break and to defend, could make them an ideal matchup for team OFF who pride themselves on doing just that. The surprise team of the session has dropped the last two after a 6-0 start, but I don't think they have wavered in confidence. If they go down next week, it will be swinging.

7. Sparkle City (Last Week: 8)

Sparkle City moves up to Number 7 this week despite the loss to Barely Legal. This team has shown that they have the athleticism to compete in the Gold Bracket. The question will be, can they put the ball in the basket enough to run with the Ice Men in round 1. Your guess is as good as mine.

8. Roll Tide (Last Week: 7)

oll Tide up ended Bellingham this week by just a bucket. Regardless they continue to win, you can make it 5 straight for them, if it is going to be 6 straight they will have to pull the biggest upset in this leagues history in the first round of the playoffs, and avoid getting 'Rolled' .... tide.

9. Calves ( Last Week: 9)

They did it! The Calves got a W in Week 8 beating Attleboro 90-82 in a high flying affair. The victory earned them the #1 seed in the Bronze Bracket despite finishing the year a disappointing 2-6. Their week 8 matchup is my pick to be the final in the Bronze Bracket, but both them and Attleboro have proven me wrong in the past!

10. Attleboro (Last Week: 10)

Another loss for Attleboro to finish the session off at 2-6 after a promising start. Despite the record they are the #2 seed in the Bronze Bracket and will have a chance to go on a playoff run. Though this isn't where they want to/we thought they'd be when this league began, they still have the talent to play some good basketball in the upcoming playoffs.
