Summer League Players of the Week

Week 1- James Sorrentine- IceMen

James Sorrentine was EASILY the MVP of the Finals Game of the Spring Session, and he picked up right where he left off in Week 1 of the Summer, scoring a team high 30 points to lead the defending champs to a Week 1 W over Average at Best.

Week 2-Tommy Garrick- Select Hoops-

Garrick has been impressive through two weeks, as last night was no different. He put on an absolute Dunk-A-Thon en route to 22 points and leading Select Hoops to their second straight comfortable win.

Week 3-Derek Retos- Average At Best-

Derek Retos scored 27 points in AAB's win over the Greenies in Week 3. The better he plays the better this team will be, as we know Ryan Sheehan will always be consistent. Ryan is unlikely to score 70 a game though, so Retos contributions will be huge for this club, and he showed up and then some last night.

Week 4-Steve Burrill- Grit N' Balls-

Steve Burrill scored 23 points to help his Grit N' Balls team earn their first win of the season last night over a very good Attleboro team.

Week 5- Conor Larkin- Attleboro

Attleboro's Conor Larkin earns Player of the Week honors for Week 5. His 25 point performance led Attleboro past Salve in a game that wasn't as close as many expected. He continues to be Attleboro's most consistent performer, and this week is no exception to say the least.

Week 6-Kyle Gibson (IceMen) and Alex DaLuz (Select Hoops)-

Just too close to call this week so for the first time this year we have Co-Players of the week. Gibson helped snap a 3 game losing streak scoring 34 in a win over Salve for the IceMen, while Alex Daluz took the scoring reigns in the absence of his teams two top players scoring 27 points to help SH stay undefeated.

Week 7-Justin Perron- Toon Squad

Perron erupted for 32 points to help the Toon Squad earn their 5th win of the season. He earns Player of the Week honors for week 7!

Week 8-Derek Retos- Average at Best

Easy one this week, Derek Retos scored a season high (for anyone in the league) 44 points to help Average at Best win a shootout vs. Willy's Local Foods.

Week 9-Aaron Anniballi- AndThree

In a breakout performance Aaron Anniballi scored 36 points to lift AndThree to an impressive win over Salve. If he continues this, AndThree could be a cindarella story over the next few weeks!
